Honestly, I prefer Y EDP and Y Live compared to Y Le Parfum. I think Y Le Parfum just smells more generic as it combines the vibe of multiple recent fragrances like Eros, Le Male Le Parfum, etc, with the Y DNA. Not a big fan, but not a bad one either (I still think it smells good).Parfum does not mean more longevity, and in this case of YSL Y the Le Parfum works out to be a more settled, warmer scent IMHO but a bit less longevity than the EDP. Hello friends, I am a big fan of the Y lineup from YSL. I own every Y fragrance, exept for the new 2022 Eau de Toilette release, because it’s not available yet where I live. I have the YSL EDP and they’re very similar, the Le Parfum isn’t as loud and long lasting though. You can definitely use it year round but it shines in the hotter months. Just my opinion, but it’s great for casual wear, as well as work if you’re easy on the sprays.
Upon first spray this reminded me of a modernized L'Homme with some twist from the Y EdP, I think it's the drydown from the Amberwood that makes me think so. Ysl Y Le Parfum got me some compliments this week. I (29yo Male) wore 3 sprays of this on my way out of work and had a female coworker tell me i smelled yummy. Really caught me off guard with that compliment because she is usually very shy.I use le parfum and agree, it’s lacking in performance.
